JASWDC is proud to support TABLE FOR TWO’s World Food Day 2019 “Change the World with Onigiri – #OnigiriAction –”. During the class, you will learn how to make traditional onigiri (rice balls) as well as creative onigiri that use ingredients such as seaweed and vegetables, and support TABLE FOR TWO’s Onigiri Action. Participants will be able to help donate school meals to children in need in DC and around the world by just taking a photo with their onigiri (rice balls) and post on the campaign website or your own social media with #OnigiriAction. For each onigiri photo post, TFT’s partner organizations will donate 5 school meals to children in need. Also a portion of the fee for this class will be donated to provide 10 school meals!

This class is generously sponsored by San-J. San-J is renowned for its premium tamari and shoyu soy sauce and Japanese salad dressings, rice crackers, and Asian cooking sauces.
